Message	have any vibration issues. Imo, you're equally susceptible to vibrations or loss of sound quality either way with poor install, but I really felt like the PVC ones did a great job sealing around the old speaker enclosure area and offered a larger variety in speaker choices and installation options. I ended up reselling a brand new OEM metal bracket set Bernie sold me because my Diamond Audio 6.5 components wouldn't nearly fit.
